Many of our customers like to purchase a pre-filter, which filters your water before it gets to your ionizer.  It's a very heavy-duty filter which adds an extra layer of protection to ensure that all contaminants have been removed from your water.  Some also remove extra contaminants that your standard ionizer filter cannot remove, such as fluoride.
