Here at IonizerOasis, we highly recommend a high alkaline diet. In fact, sometimes we feel like we have one-track minds! We try to force all our friends to get them, and our families, and just constantly preach the good word of water ionizers. Of course, this is because we’ve seen the effects, and they are really amazing.
But at the same time, we have to be honest with ourselves and admit that a high alkaline diet might not be right for everyone. This article is going to talk about the decision to start a high alkaline diet, and a few groups of people who might want to be careful before getting started. But again, we still think it’s the right choice for (just about) everyone!
Acute or Chronic Kidney Failure
First things first, if you have a history of acute or chronic kidney failure, you’re going to want to be extremely careful about anything that involves your pH level. You have an extremely sensitive body, and you’re going to want to consult a doctor for any major change in your diet. So be careful.
This doesn’t mean that you can’t get a water ionizer, and in fact it might be a great way for you to keep a handle on your health. But you have to consult a professional first in order to ensure that everything’s safe.
Look At Your Current Diet
This point is a little more general. What kind of diet are you currently eating? You could have anything from an absolutely terrible diet (a friend of mine considers buffalo wings to be a food group of their own) to a pretty darn good one. If you’re in the first category, just about anything you do might very well improve your diet, and we’d highly suggest trying the alkaline diet out, for obvious reasons. But if you already have a pretty good diet and naturally eat foods that are mostly alkaline, then maybe just a few tweaks to your weekly routine would be helpful.

You should also definitely look into getting a water ionizer, because no matter how great your diet is, without a water ionizer you’re not getting the other half of the equation - purified, alkaline water. If you happen to have any chemicals or contaminants in your water source, you’re going to want to know about that immediately. A water ionizer should do the trick to remove that stuff.
Seeking a Change?
In general, if you’re unhappy with your energy levels, or if you have anything from a general host of physical ailments (headaches, lethargy, arthritis, etc…) you should really give a high alkaline diet a chance. Most people who try it notice the benefits almost immediately. Many report that the water itself even tastes much better (I definitely think this is true.) Just in general, if it’s not something that you’ve ever tried, you will most likely be shocked at the difference in the way you feel about your body.
In this article we discussed a few of the life issues that could affect whether or not you want to begin a high alkaline diet. Now that you’ve learned a little bit about the food you should be eating, why don’t you check out our section on Alkaline Water? Without the right water, you’d be missing the key ingredient.
