The Chanson Water® Ultra-filter has .01 micron strands that trap and remove bacteria and viral contaminants from the water supply. Because the smallest bacteria known to man are .02 micron, the Ultra-filter can claim major anti-bacterial properties!
Why doesn't the .01 micron filter get clogged?
Until now, .01 micron filters were not used in filtration units because of how easily they would clog - users would see reduced water flow after only 3-4 weeks of use! The Chanson Water® Ultra-filter has a self-flushing system which prevents clogging and extends the life of the filter. When the main faucet is turned on the contaminants are flushed down the drain, cleaning the filter! (See diagram in photos section)
How long will the Ultra-filter and the other filters last?
The Ultra-Filter will last 2-3 years before it needs to be replaced compared to other filters that last 6-8 months. Because of its anti-bacterial properties, the Chanson Ultra-filter can be used in times of emergency when bacterial concerns can cause the city to issue a “boil first” warning. The Ultra-filter can clean and purify water in these circumstances as well as process raw lake water.
Note: Replacements filters for the ultra filter is only stage 2 and 3 for the first year which are the GAC and KDF, this will cost $72.00

The first filter with a life time warranty All Chanson ultra filters have full lifetime warranty on the housings hoses and fittings. Should your filter housing, hoses or fittings ever become damaged for any reason just give us a call and we will mail replacements to you right away. This warranty is exclusively for the ultrafilter.
